Steve Greenberg has been the Chairman of the Charles Ives Authority since its founding in 2007.  Steve's involvement in the community has included work with many local organizations including being past President/Treasurer of the Rotary Club, he is a Paul Harris Fellow, a recipient of Amos House's 2010 Good Samaritan Award, active member of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member/ Treasurer of the Northern Fairfield Association of Realtors and recipient of their Affiliate of the Year Award.  He resides in Danbury with his wife Lauren and their dog Theo, is a 26 year veteran of the Mortgage Banking Industry, is an ex-drummer & trombone player, and an old Ramones fan.  Steve is often seen wandering the Ives grounds during events greeting guests and friends, and beware of his foraging for hot dogs. 

Tony Vournazos is a local attorney with an office in Danbury for over 25 years. He practices Real Estate, Estate and Elder Law. In addition to the Ives, Tony has also been a member of Rotary and other civic groups. He has taught real estate and finance courses through the American Banking Institute and has been named “Teacher of the Year”. Tony is an avid skier, fisherman and scuba diver. He is the Board Treasurer and resides in Newtown with his wife and 3 children.

Sherri Hill: A public relations professional for more than 25 years, Sherri Hill is associate director of University Relations at Western Connecticut State University. She also is an adjunct instructor in WestConn’s Master of Fine Arts in Creative and Professional Writing program. Hill formerly was director of public relations for two entertainment industry trade associations and also ran her own consulting company. She lives in Bethel with her daughter.

Samuel Hyman: Owner of S.R. Hyman Associates, Inc., established in 1990 and located in Danbury is a consultant firm that provides service to major corporations and government agencies on minority and women–owned businesses for procurement opportunities.  Sam was previously employed with the State of Connecticut, Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities in Hartford, CT as Contract Compliance Officer, and was Special Projects Manager at the time of his retirement.  Some of Sam’s current affiliations are: BOD Ability Beyond Disability;  Boards:  New England Dollars for Scholars; Cherry Street Association.  Sam joined Ives believing that his participation along with others could make a significant difference in bringing high quality events in the performing arts that reflects the rich diversity of the community.Sam enjoys serving with the many other talented and dedicated members of the board, staff and volunteers who share the Ives mission.

 Noel Roy II: A lifelong resident of Danbury, Noel owns and operates a family business in Danbury.  Community minded, he has served several local charitable organizations by being fully committed to their success and ability to continue servicing the needs of our community.Noel is proud to be a part of such a beautiful venue, where the live music in the Ives outside setting is such a great experience.

 Gina Marcus:  A lifelong lover of the arts- Gina grew up with a Mom who brought her to every outlet for the arts possible.  Gina has worked during her career as an event planner for places like The Parrish Art Museum, The New York Botanical Garden, The Katonah Museum of Art and Marcus Dairy.Now, she is married to a wonderful guy and has a 5 year old daughter who is currently being groomed to be the next Prima ballerina for The American Ballet Theater or the newest member of the E Street Band – it could go either way.

Frank Herbert has been on the board since it was founded prior to the 2007 season. He has been a major force behind the Fine Arts Series as a director, producer, and production manager and has 35 years of professional Performing Arts experience in Connecticut, New York and internationally.  Frank was the founding Chairman of the WCSU Theatre Department in the school of Visual and Performing Arts. He serves on the HVCA board, The Child Care Commission and The Friends of The North Castle Library board.Frank looks forward to collaborating with the Ives board, University and community to bring an even broader set of cultural offering at Ives. "Ives is a beautiful setting where great things are going on.”

 Fernando Jiménez is a professional musician/conductor and a member of the faculty of the Music Department at WCSU. Dr. Jiménez is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he has participated as guest conductor with symphony orchestras, opera companies and wind ensembles in Texas; Louisiana; Georgia; New York, and New England. He has also been invited as a guest lecturer and guest conductor in Central America and Venezuela. He has been a member of the Ives Authority since its inception in 2007 and functions as the Conductor/Music Director of the Ives Festival Symphony Orchestra.

Ellen Cavallo-Buccitti has lived in the Greater Danbury area for 35 years and is the Broker of Independent Realty Group, a local real estate company where she specializes in the areas lake communities.Ellen is an avid gardener and enjoys creating and caring for the gardens with her husband David at their home near Candlewood Lake.  Her love of gardening was the inspiration around the Ives Adopt-A-Garden program. Ellen is excited to be on the Ives Center Board and she looks forward to working with local gardeners and landscapers to enhance the gardens at the Ives Park.

Eileen Curran:  A director of marketing communications for a global company, Eileen Curran grew up walking the Ives Concert Park trails with her family.  A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, she enjoys participating in community events that help enhance the local living experience, and is excited to participate as a member of the Ives.  She is a lifelong Danbury resident.

Brett DeWeese: An event management and trade show professional for over sixteen years, Brett DeWeese is the Director of International Sales of the Global Gaming Expo for Reed Exhibitions, a leading trade show organizer in Norwalk, CT.  An avid music fan and concert goer, Brett has been volunteering at the Ives for six years.  Brett grew up in Danbury and lives in Brookfield with his wife Joanne and daughter Emma.
