Returning for its third year, Friends of the Ives will present Art at Ives: Juried Fine Art & Crafts Show on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday June 3. Continuing to increase the access to visual arts in the Greater Danbury Community, the show features accomplished artists from across the nation. All major categories are included with high-quality original works in a diverse scope of art forms from painting and digital art to fiber, paper, and drawing. Food and live music, along with student art displays, demonstrations and more will be showcased.

The Ives’ lush oasis of natural beauty on Danbury’s west side, hosts world-renowned artists in a wide variety of music and theater genres. The venue pays tribute to its storied roots in classical music while acknowledging the ongoing evolution of the art of live performance. The Ives is proud to work together creatively with many artists and community stakeholders such as the Western Connecticut State University Art Department, the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and the Brookfield Craft Center to develop the Juried Fine Art & Crafts Show and to envision and inspire cultural enrichment for the entire family.
