Forever Grateful Music Fest – DAY 2

CELEBRATING THE MUSIC AND CULTURE OF THE GRATEFUL DEAD AND BEYOND!

Forever Grateful returned for its 4th year of celebrating the music and culture of the Grateful Dead and Beyond! The festival included tribute sets to The Allman Brothers, Bob Marley, Jerry Garcia Band, Grateful Dead and original home grown acts that kept patrons shaking and grooving all day, all night!

DAY 2 WILL BE HAPPENING ON SATURDAY, SEPT 1. Doors open at 1pm.

Headlining Saturday, Sept 1: 

Shakedown, performing the Grateful Dead: 

Shakedown is a Connecticut-based band that has been performing their unique version of a Grateful Dead Concert since 1987. Shakedown features wonderful three part harmonies with varied and interesting jams that reflect the band members’ special chemistry. A loyal following of fans has blossomed over the years, and Shakedown performs regularly at Toad’s Place in New Haven and at almost every major music venue in Southern New England.

Stella Blues, performing a long set of Grateful Dead:

​Stella Blue’s Band is a band on a mission. Attracting both talented musicians and kind folks, a project born out of love for the music, and jamming for fun, Stella has evolved into one of the best touring tributes to the Dead on today’s live circuit. Members: Bill Bonacci-Lead guitar/Vocal; Marc Loponte-Vox; Steve Liesman-Rhythm guitar/Vocals; Ken Aigen-Keys; Greg Solomon-Bass; Ron Cohen-Drums/Vocals.

Uncle Ebenezer, performing a long set of Phish:

Uncle Ebenezer are four musicians and Phish fans who are dedicated to spreading the joy and excitement of the live Phish experience. Combining accuracy and musicianship with whimsical performances, Uncle Ebenezer seeks to light up clubs and venues the way Phish did when they played intimate settings. The rich history of Phish’s career and the part it played in Uncle Ebenezer’s lives inspires them to recreate the sound, look, and feel of those amazing performances. Union Rail:

An original band with influences ranging from Appalachian bluegrass to folk, country, blues and their own pop mix of early American music. With all members being both vocalists and multi-faceted instrumentalists, the band brings a great mix of sounds from guitars to banjos to harmonicas and an array of other acoustic instruments. Union Rail provides frequent layered harmonies to create a great sound that’s fun both to hear and watch their live performances.

The Brotherhood:
