About John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band

The legendary “East Coast Rock’n’Roll” group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1972 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers – Motion Picture Soundtrack”. The hit single “On the Dark Side” held the “Number-One” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks. The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA.

The title track from the group’s 1985 follow-up album Tough All Over became their second “Number-One” single on the Billboard Rock charts and the song C-I-T-Y reached the Billboard Top 20. John Cafferty’s solo track “Hearts on Fire” was featured in the Sylvester Stallone film “Rocky IV” and he received his second double Platinum soundtrack award. Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures. Today John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band continue to tour and bring their exciting live shows to fans around the world. In 2012 they were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall Of Fame.

About the Spadtastics

You don’t just leave a Spadtastics show having been entertained; you are made a better, more compassionate human being.

How do the Spadtastics achieve such mind-blowing Grateful-Dead-covering awesomeness? They’re veterans of locally legendary bands such as MILC, Nick the Fin, Magic Garden, the Well, the Tasteful Nudes, Uncle John’s Touch of Grey Band (feat. Casey Jones), and Steppenwolf. They’ve been playing this music since the peak of Ronald Reagan era and have only gotten younger since. Now, they are certified Diamond Platinum Status Masters of the Dead—and will challenge any Podunk band that thinks they’re better to a Help>Slip>Franklin’s duel at 20 paces. Just try us!

About Doug Allen:

People say this
singer/songwriter from Nashville sounds a bit like Zac Brown & Keith Urban,
with a touch of 70’s songwriters John Denver and James Taylor in there. His high
energy shows, rich voice and catchy melodies are helping him build a dedicated
following on TN Radio, in Movie Soundtracks, in clubs and on social media.

We’re excited.  After showcasing
for Song Publishers and Entertainment Managers, Doug just signed a publishing
deal for some of his songs for TV & Film placements with the LA based
Publishing Company Imaginary Friends Music Partners.  Additionally, Stonebridge/Furch guitars just offered
Doug an endorsement deal for one of their terrific sounding acoustic guitars
and the spec deal he signed with a Nashville Studio has produced his most
promising single to date; “Thank God for Friday Nights”.  It will be released on all digital formats in
August. Right now Doug is busy co-writing and playing out in and around
Nashville about 4 nights a week… come check him out!
