Intern Job Description: Throughout the concert season interns work with general office administration reception, patron service, database maintenance, marketing and social media. They assist in email & online communications, fundraising campaigns, and Sponsor, Donor & Ambassador support services. Interns liaise, contact & distribute donated tickets to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Danbury area through our Project Outreach Program. They provide on site assistance in various capacities when available with performance production and venue needs. Work alongside our Ambassador staff of nearly 100 volunteers on site during performances as well as possibly assisting with concession operations. On many occasions interns will also participate in important Sponsor and Donor communications, and preparing artist and sponsor contracts as well as learning the fine art of negotiations!
Program Experiences: Interns are a vital part of the development of Ives programs & services
and offer much needed assistance in delivering our programs to the community. While working in a world class performing arts facility, Ives interns become a significant member of our team, building skill sets that will develop into substantial elements in the foundation of their future.
