WXCI presents Wonderball – Sat, May 4

WONDERBALL is WXCI’s newest music festival on Saturday, May 4 on the Ives Concert Park stage. Eight up and coming local bands will be playing with styles ranging from alt, indie, math, emo and punk rock to soul, synth, and art-pop all day long!

Come enjoy all-day music, friends, and the beautiful Ives Concert Park! There will also be a bounce house, photo booth, raffle, and lawn games to enjoy! Don’t miss it!

About WXCI:

WXCI is a student-run college radio station. We are located at the Midtown Campus of Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) in Danbury, Connecticut. WXCI began in 1973 and has remained the second largest college radio station in Connecticut. We broadcast at 3000 watts and our transmitter is located at the Westside Campus of WCSU.

You can hear a wide range of genres on WXCI — we play everything: hip-hop, metal, indie rock, Americana, classic rock, jazz, punk, reggae, techno, folk, dance, experimental, industrial, hardcore, alt-rock, avant-garde, power pop, funk, electroclash, country, ambient, ska, grindcore, bluegrass, electronica, psychedelic, British Invasion, elevator music, black metal, drum and bass, and more.

We also feature weekly topical talk shows including the Sports Report and Commuter Catchup. Also, on the weekends, we broadcast WCSU sports events, including football, basketball, and hockey games.
